Three Things to Look for in Hoover Wet Dry Vacuums

While ordinary vacuum cleaners work great on normal dry carpets, they run into problems when you need to do anything involving a wet surface. However, Hoover wet dry vacuums have no problems working on any surface, wet or dry. There are many different kinds of Hoover wet dry vacuums, however, and if you have never owned this kind of vacuum, it can be a little confusing to pick one out. Fortunately, it's not really that bad once you know what to look for, and I'm about to tell you just that.

The first thing you need to know is what core type of vacuum you're looking for, whether that's a handheld, a standing vacuum, or a tank vacuum. It may be a little surprising to hear that there are handheld Hoover wet dry vacuums, but they do exist. Standing vacuums are the most common kind of vacuum and the kind that most people want. Tank vacuums, which use a hose attached to a tank to suck up the water or debris, are the best vacuums to use in a shop or industrial situation. Pick whichever type of vacuum matches what you're trying to do.

Once you know which type of vacuum you want, you'll need to think about the size. Hoover wet dry vacuums can range from less than a gallon in the handhelds to 20 gallons or more in the tank vacuums. If you're looking for an ordinary standing vacuum, then you'll probably want a capacity of around 5 gallons.

Finally, you want to consider the potential of the vacuum for deep cleaning. Some Hoover wet dry vacuums have a feature called SpinScrub, spinning brushes that can be used to get deep down into the crevices of the hard floor. If you intend on using your wet dry vacuum on a very dirty hard floor, then you should definitely consider this feature.

So, the first thing you need to decide is whether you want a handheld vacuum, a standing vacuum, or a tank vacuum. Then you need to decide on the specific size. And finally you need to look into SpinScrub and see if it's something that you think you'll need. Once you've decided on all these aspects, you should have arrived at the right Hoover wet dry vacuum for your needs.
